Terms & Conditions

Please read through the terms and conditions on our website thoroughly before enrolling. When enrolling as a student of you agree to the terms and conditions as laid out on our website https://www.vidyanand.org/terms-conditions.
 

GENERAL

  1. All purchases of services (classes, workshops, trainings, events) are non-refundable.

  2. Every effort is made to hold class on time. The schedule is subject to change without prior notice. Please check the online schedule for the most up-to-date schedule. We are not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed or cancelled for any reason.

  3. Please arrive at least ten minutes before class.

  4. Please check in at reception before each class.

  5. Payment must be made upon booking. No students will be permitted to sign-up for a class, workshop, training or event as unpaid unless it is a free or donation based class. Unpaid classes or membership payments will be back-charged.

  6. We not responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings.

  7. For safety reasons, no one 10 or more minutes late for class is permitted entry and leaving class early is strongly discouraged.

  8. You agree that you have been examined by a qualified medical practitioner within the past six months and have been found by such practitioner to be in good physical health and physically able to perform all yoga classes.

  9. It is the responsibility of the student to notify teachers of any previous injury, illness, or conditions that may impact their practice.

  10. Classes may be physically strenuous and you voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death.

  11. You will follow all instructions given to you by the teachers and you acknowledge that any failure to do so will be at your own risk and may cause injury.

  12. In attending classes, you agree that neither you, your heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against Vidyanand.org, SriMa International School of Transformational Yoga India or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

  13. We reserve the right to refuse entry.

  14. Prices may increase from time to time to reflect increases in cost and benefits.

  15. Terms, Conditions, and Fees are subject to change without prior notification.

  16. By booking into a class you automatically agree to the above terms & conditions.

 

Booking, Refund and Cancellation Policy​

  1. Workshop, classes, trainings and event cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the start of the reserved workshop or event. If you do not attend or cancel within 24 hours of start time, you will be fully charged for the workshop and will not be able to use the credit for a future workshop.

  2. Workshops, classes, events and trainings are non-refundable.

  3. Credits will not be provided for enrollments canceled by student.

  4. Please cancel if you are unable to attend a class or workshop  to make your space available to others.

  5. No refund will be provided for Yoga Teacher Training Courses once the course has begun.

This privacy policy sets out the way that Vidyanand.org/SriMa International School of Transformational Yoga India (we, us, or our) complies with the requirements of privacy laws, codes and regulations in India (Privacy Laws), and governs how we collect, use and protect any personal information you provide to us, whether online, via phone, text, email, in letters or in other correspondence.

  • when we may use your details to contact you;

The information we collect

We may collect information about you (such as your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.) through:

  • you contacting us directly;

  • providing goods or services to you (where relevant);

  • you filling out a form on our website, including a 'Contact Us' form.

If you enter your contact details in one of our online forms, we may use this information to contact you even if you don't 'send' or 'submit' the form. We will only do this to see if we can help with any problems you might be experiencing with the form or with our websites.

If you provide us with personal information about another person, you should obtain their consent to do so, having informed them of this privacy policy where appropriate.
 

We automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit our website (such as the type of browser you are using, the type of operating system you are using, and the domain name of your internet service provider).

  • in relation to any correspondence you have entered into with us;

  • for internal administration purposes;

  • for marketing purposes where you have specifically consented to receive marketing communications from us (see below);

We use non-personally identifiable information to analyse usage of our website (such as aggregated information on the pages visited by our users), which allows us to improve the design and content of our site.  Any data gathered will be shared, if appropriate, with any third parties who provide services to us or on our behalf.
 

Will I be contacted for marketing purposes?

We will only contact you for marketing purposes where you have provided us with your consent to do so.  You can opt out of receiving electronic marketing messages at any time by contacting us, or by using the unsubscribe facility contained in the relevant messages.

We will only use your information for the purposes for which it was obtained.  We may share your personal information with any of the following: other entities in our group, our professional advisors, legal tribunals and courts, and any of our third party service providers (including web services and cloud storage/hosting providers) where that disclosure is reasonably required to fulfil any purpose for which your personal information was collected.

We hold personal information in accordance with Privacy Laws.

We are committed to keeping personal information secure. We will use all reasonable precautions to protect personal information from misuse, interference and loss, as well as unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

We cannot guarantee the privacy of personal information that you transmit over the internet or that may be collectable in transit by others (including contractors who provide services to us).

You have a right to request access to, and correction of, personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the details in the 'Contact us' section below. Your request will be dealt with in accordance with Privacy Laws.

Our Website may contain links to other sites and you should consult the other sites' privacy notices.  Their information practices may be different than ours and we have no control over information that is submitted to, or collected by, these third parties.
